Protection and Indemnity insurance is available for larger yachts and covers third party liabilities and expenses related to the ownership and operation of a yacht, including collision, damage to or loss of property, fines, liabilities to your crew, pollution, towage and wreck removal.

Cargo coverage is available worldwide for the transportation of yachts and/or their containers.

Crew Personal Accident & Medical Expenses

Crew Personal Accident & Medical Expenses provides coverage for professional crew, 24 hours a day. This coverage can be extended to include the owner, his family and guests.

Yacht Owner's Liability to Employed Crew

Yacht Owner's Liability to Employed Crew coverage is mandatory for owners of British Flag (Red Ensign) Yachts. URS has developed an insurance solution that will enable owners to meet this requirement. We are also able to provide similar coverage for vessels registered in Europe and many offshore registers.

Charterer's Liability

Charterer’s Liability provides coverage: for the charterer’s obligations under the charter agreement; in the event the owner’s policy does not respond to an event; and for defence costs if the charterer is sued directly.

Race Organiser's Liability

Race Organiser's Liability offers coverage for the regatta or event organiser to third parties, including participants.

Event Cancellation

Event Cancellation coverage is also available for regattas, corporate events, round the world races and other major yacht or maritime events.
